Once I start, how will I know when to stop counseling?

This is an important issue to be discussed with your therapist.  It may be realized by the positive changes in our lives.  We may have more ease in relationships that were difficult or see things from a different perspective.   Once again, this discussion is part of the therapy process.  This may be addressed in the beginning of therapy, different times in the midst of therapy, or toward the close of the therapeutic relationship.  As in all of these questions, we encourage you to discuss this with your therapist and consider your options as part of the therapeutic process.
