John Harpole, MA, LPC
Current: John is currently a 4th year student in the PhD (Counselor Education and Supervision) program at The University of Missouri-St. Louis, which is the only CACREP accredited doctoral program in Counselor Education and Supervision in the state of Missouri. License: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (Missouri) Certification: Certified School Psychological Examiner Location: Main office in Creve Coeur on Ladue Road (Ladue and I-270) Memberships: American Counseling Association, American Counseling Association of Missouri, National Career Development Association, Missouri Career Development Association Specialties: John provides therapy to individual adults and adolescents as well as couples and families. John’s research interests include men’s issues and men in therapy. In addition, John works with GLBT/Q clients and people planning marriage (pre-marital counseling). John also works with people suffering with anxiety, depression, loss and grief, and men with sexual issues. John has experience as a pastor and missionary, and understands the special stresses and needs of clergy and their families, including mission families either transitioning to a new culture or returning to their home culture. John provides K-12 psychological testing for students. In addition, John provides Career Counseling for adolescents and adults (either first career planning or career transition issues). Insurance: Value Options. John is an out-of-network provider for most other insurance companies. |
